From Analyst to Cluster Lead
Patricia joined ZBiz Solutions in May 2022 as an analyst, and through hard work and determination, she has risen to the role of Cluster Lead. In this position, she plays a crucial role in ensuring the MSM team operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards for client deliverables. She collaborates closely with account supervisors to uphold quality and productivity.
Like any leadership role, Patricia’s comes with its fair share of challenges, particularly in handling time-sensitive reports. However, she thrives in overcoming obstacles alongside her team. “It can be tough when faced with roadblocks, especially with tight deadlines, but there’s a great sense of accomplishment when we successfully navigate a hectic day together,” she shares. With the support of her dedicated supervisors, Patricia leads with confidence, guiding her team through the demands of daily operations.
A Testament to Resilience and Self-Discovery
Patricia’s career path is a story of resilience. At the beginning of her journey, she struggled with self-doubt, often feeling left behind by her peers. Applying for a second time at ZBiz Solutions became the turning point she needed—a fresh start. “My self-esteem was at its lowest when I first started working here. I regained my self-esteem and my efforts were seen and rewarded. I was always grateful for new tasks and took it as an opportunity to improve myself. Even now, I try to maintain the same outlook,” she reflects.
Even as she took on greater responsibilities, Patricia continued to push herself while maintaining a healthy mindset. “With bigger responsibilities, it could get overwhelming. During these times, I take a step back and engage in something fulfilling to not lose sight of how far I have gone.”
Finding Fulfillment in Mentorship
One of Patricia’s greatest joys at ZBiz Solutions is mentoring and training others—a passion she never expected to develop. “I am an introvert at heart and building relationships with people is something I strive to improve. Albeit remotely, being able to influence, mentor, and inspire others and receive their appreciation energizes me to be more and do more.”
She acknowledges that forming personal connections with every team member may not always be possible. “But I make sure to at least impart something to people I usually work with, including trainees, no matter how brief our interaction may be.”
Among her proudest moments are the reports and outputs she has successfully delivered. However, one Christmas holiday as an account supervisor shifted her perspective. She received heartfelt messages of appreciation from her analysts—an unexpected but deeply moving experience. “It became my motivation and my inspiration as to what kind of leader I wanted to be.”
Staying Organized
As a Cluster Lead, Patricia manages multiple tasks daily. She shares her strategies for staying organized and productive:
Using Google Calendar for online task tracking.
Maintaining a paper planner to visualize weekly tasks.
Prioritizing urgent tasks and pairing them with easier ones.
Breaking down complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
Delegating tasks to supervisors to enhance team efficiency.
Anticipating potential issues and developing contingency plans.
Through these strategies, Patricia ensures smooth operations while making time-sensitive decisions with clarity and efficiency.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, Patricia has a passion for travel and food. If she could have any superpower, she would choose teleportation to explore different cuisines around the world.
Though she isn’t a big movie fan, one series holds a special place in her heart—Because This Is My First Life, a K-drama about a struggling female drama writer in her 30s who embarks on a fresh start. “For me, it’s a refreshing representation of how you can start over your life and do a better version of it even when you're in your 30s. You just have to muster the courage to remove yourself from a toxic environment, take the initiative to change, and surround yourself with people who support you.”

“We are all a work in progress. Yes, prepare to the best of your ability but do not be afraid to make mistakes because that is a sign of growth. Be like a sponge and soak new things, and new skills, and use them to your advantage.”
